Arrive and head for the hills
Meet your driver-guide at the airport and drive up to Kandy. Evening stroll around the lake and a Kandyan dance show.
Overnight in Kandy - Day 2
Royal Kandy
Morning at the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, then the Royal Botanic Gardens at Peradeniya.
Overnight in Kandy - Day 3
Into tea country
Wind up into the mountains past Ramboda Falls. Visit a working tea factory and taste fresh Ceylon tea, then settle into Nuwara Eliya, 'Little England'.
Overnight in Nuwara Eliya - Day 4
World's End
Dawn walk on Horton Plains to World's End and Baker's Falls. Afternoon boat ride on Gregory Lake.
Overnight in Nuwara Eliya - Day 5
The famous train
Board the blue train at Nanu Oya for the spectacular ride through the clouds to Ella.
Overnight in Ella - Day 6
Ella
Sunrise on Little Adam's Peak, the Nine Arches Bridge, Ravana Falls and an optional cookery class.
Overnight in Ella - Day 7
Lipton's Seat
Sunrise at Lipton's Seat above the tea estates, then a scenic drive back towards the airport region.
Overnight in Negombo - Day 8
Farewell
Transfer to the airport for your flight home.
